My Yoga Videos—A Humble Beginning, But We Have to Start Somewhere, Right?

Standard

Hey friends, yes, we all have to start somewhere…and although these videos are pretty hilarious in terms of lighting, sound quality, etc…you’ll get the idea and can benefit from them regardless of the quality.

And if you show up now at the beginning, you can boast to your friends ten years from now when I’m traveling all over the world teaching yoga and posting super professional videos, saying, “Yoga Mom? Yeah, we go way back. I’ve been following her since the beginning!” 😄 😊☺️

  1. Sweet! Are you going to do a series on increasing flexibility ever? I have found a few twenty minute routines on Amazon but I would rather support you when and if you do.

      • Good to know. Are you talking about hips and legs, primarily? And do you have a strap? I teach a sequence of hip openers, IT band and hamstring stretches…If you don’t have a strap, a belt or even a towel would do, but straps are nice…

      • I’ve got just the sequence for you, and I’d love to put together a video that would help you. Thanks for giving me ideas; I do love the thought that I could make yoga accessible to people I know but who aren’t close enough to come to my classes at the studio. 🙏🏻🌈✨

      • Funny you ask. I have a Facebook page for my yoga teaching but I haven’t updated it in eons. I’m not even sure what it looks like at this point. I suppose it would be a good idea to check it out and bring it current!

  2. Hi there!
Yes I agree we all have to start somewhere. I’ve also begun working on a blog and it’s “raw and real” hehe no professional lighting just me and my experiences.
I’ve been doing yoga for 15 years but now that I’m a mommy to two littles i feel like I’m a beginner again. Would love to see a postpartum video if you have some
Poses and tips for regaining strength and flexibility after babies.
Wish you the best Yoga Mom!

    • Thanks for showing up Elizabeth! I have two children as well. A postpartum video sounds great. Thanks for getting the wheels in my head turning. And good for you to start a blog! It’s not easy with kids but ultimately you show them that you place a value on your creativity, and this benefits them beyond words…🙏🏻✨🌈

  3. Love this. You made me laugh about going way back. I felt to stop by. I’m not on WordPress much these days…so if I’m absent it’s not that I’m not sending my prayers. I am. Proud of you. XX
